Brockhaus Private Equity was founded in 2000 as an independent private equity firm in Frankfurt/Main, Germany, and has been managing funds from institutional investors with a volume of more than
€ 175 million since then.

In 2007, the fund Brockhaus Private Equity II with a volume of € 125 million was established for investments in buy-outs and expansion transactions.

Brockhaus Private Equity focuses on equity and equity-related investments with an amount of between € 5 million and € 25 million per engagement in Germany and other European countries. The investment focus is on technology leaders in the German Mittelstand (SMME).
